Some parents are content snapping pictures on their smartphones, and that’s totally okay. Professional photography can be a bit pricey, but trust us, the results can be magical..

Over the last thirty years, newborn photography has evolved significantly in both style and technique. In the early ’90s, newborn photos were often more formal and traditional, usually featuring the baby in simple poses, often swaddled or lying in a crib. The settings were typically minimal, focusing solely on capturing the infant’s features. 

Fast forward to today, and the genre has become an art form, featuring intricate poses, a variety of props, and elaborate set designs that often resemble mini movie sets. Advances in technology, digital cameras and more importantly photoshop, have enabled photographers to revolutionise what is possible with newborns.

He trained as a photojournalist in the 1990’s at Stradbrooke College in Sheffield then qualified as a portrait licentiate and then as a portrait associate with the Master Photographers Association, Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the British Institute of Professional Photographers.

He is the winner of many international, national and regional awards, including MPA International Lifestyle and Location Photographer of the Year 2017, MPA International Observed Wedding Photographer of the Year 2020 and the studio was voted MPA Community Studio of the Year 2022.

We know times are tough, so we offer packages that won’t break the bank. For just £49, you get a photoshoot, a framed print, and some ‘Thank You’ cards to share the joy. And if you’d like more, we have easy payment plans to help you out.

Five digital images are just £249 and ten £299 with large 20×16” canvas is also just £299. Our best seller is a 10” twenty page album featuring all the edited pictures in it, plus a digital copy of each and a printed copy of each as well. All for £599!
