Welcome to our new News & Updates page. So we thought we’d start with a bit of history about Blitz. We are a family business with Steve being our photographer and Georgina doing other things. Sometimes we have our children at work with us, assisting with shoot set-ups and cleaning duties.
Steve has been a professional photographer for 30+ years, starting on ‘Streetlife’ which was a free paper that was delivered across the Portsmouth, Gosport, and Fareham then he moved to The News, Portsmouth. Whilst working for The News he travelled up and down the country photography Portsmouth FC as they travelled up then down the leagues, as well as meeting and photography many families, couples and schools.
Blitz Photography began to offer Wedding Photography in 2009, then in 2013 we opened our studio in Stoke Road, Gosport. The building, on the corner of Stoke Road & Elmhurst Road, has great memories for our older clientele who remember it as ‘Bulls’ the shop that sold everything from wallpaper, tools, crockery and toys.
In January 2018 we refurbished the interior, adding new climate control, viewing room and baby change and changing room.
So that is us and our Blitz story. Every family has it’s one and we see its our job to focus on you when you’re coming in so your photographs tell your story.
