Nancy has a teddy made from her grandmother’s Pyjamas

When Madison booked her newborn experience at Blitz Photography, we had know idea about their family story.  Her partner Harvey lost his mother when he was just 3 years old. Richelle was only 19 when she passed away in her sleep. The family believe she had an undiagnosed heart problem.

To help Harvey cope, his family made him a teddy made from his mother clothing.

Now he is a father himself, he wanted to give his baby daughter Nancy something that connects her with his mother. The family  made her a teddy from Richelle’s pyjamas. Every time Nancy cuddles it she has a link to the grandmother she never knew.

We photographed Nancy with her legacy bear and photoshopped her into an old photograph with Richelle.
